Sadaf will be speaking at the 10th Annual South Asian Awareness Network (SAAN) at the University of Michigan from January 20-22, 2012. She will host a workshop discussing the ways that photography can be used to address issues such as women's empowerment, and additionally how it can lead to activism by bridging together communities to overcome cultural barriers and creating a collaborative environment that empowers overall community growth.
